Firefly Sisterhood 2018 Summer Social

Are you looking for a great way to connect with your Firefly Sister, socialize with Guides or others recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and meet Firefly staff? Join us at our second annual Summer Social at Open Arms of Minnesota from 6:30 - 8pm. This wonderful nonprofit organization cooks and delivers free, nutritious meals to people living with life-threatening and chronic illness in the Twin Cities (many clients are going through breast cancer treatment).

To highlight the work of this great organization, we have enlisted their chefs to prepare and serve the appetizers, treats and beverages for our Summer Social, with no cost to you!

Would you like to volunteer for a shift in the Open Arms kitchen that evening? Join other Firefly volunteers at 4:45pm for an orientation, followed by a kitchen shift from 5:30 - 6:30pm before the Summer Social begins. Volunteers may be helping to chop veggies, package meals, bag cookies, or other production activities based upon the needs of Open Arms that week.

You can join Firefly as an Open Arms Volunteer, at the Summer Social, or both. Be sure to reserve the correct ticket(s) so we know when you will be coming!
